This exciting kit brings together a selection of delicious and unique Australian native plants, perfect for adding a touch of native flavour to your garden and plate. 

***due to the wetter weather lately we have had to change some of the plants we are placing in the kits. All great plants still and widely enjoyed by us. 

The Kit Includes:

  • Pigface (Carpobrotus): A vibrant succulent with small, pink flowers and fleshy leaves. Edible uses: Leaves and flowers can be eaten raw in salads or stir-fries. Growing: Thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. Requires minimal watering. Height: 10-20cm.
  • Midyim Berry (Austromyrtus dulcis): A small shrub with glossy green leaves and sweet, purple berries. Edible uses: Berries can be eaten fresh, dried, or used in jams and jellies. Growing: Prefers part shade and moist, well-drained soil. Height: 1-2m.
  • Dianella (Dianella revoluta): An evergreen grass-like plant with blue flowers and orange berries. Edible uses: Berries can be eaten fresh but are quite tart. Growing: Adaptable to various conditions, tolerates sun or shade and well-drained soil. Height: 40-60cm.
  • Lilly Pilly: A small tree with glossy green leaves and edible purple-black berries. Edible uses: Berries can be eaten fresh, dried, or used in jams and jellies. Growing: Prefers well-drained soil and tolerates sun or part shade. Height: 2-5m.
  • ***Plum pine instead of Appleberry . An evergreen medium size tree 10-15m. Edible uses: Berries can be eaten fresh with pulpy fruits have a grape-like texture and sweetish, mild pine flavour. Growing: Enjoys a shaded position with regular water. Height: Up to 15m.
  • ****Seaberry Saltbush instead of Ruby saltbush (Chenopodium candolleanum): A low-growing shrub with gteen foliage and small, red berries. Edible uses: Leaves can be cooked and enjoyed as a vegetable, berries can be eaten fresh or dried. Growing: Thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, drought tolerant. Height: 10-30cm.
