Corporate Workshops

Cultural Connection, Authentic Partnerships

Our corporate workshop experiences offer more than just a day out—they’re a chance to build authentic relationships rooted in culture, Country, and community. Through engaging, hands-on sessions, we invite your team to connect with Indigenous knowledge systems, whether that’s through guided walks in our native gardens or immersive bushland explorations focused on identifying, tasting, and learning about native foods and their traditional uses. Each workshop directly supports Bush to Bowl’s social enterprise, helping us create pathways for our trainees and empowering the next generation of Aboriginal land stewards. We’ll work closely with you to tailor a program that suits your organisation’s goals or individual interests, ensuring a meaningful experience that grows awareness and impact. School Workshops

Connecting Our Next Gen to Country

At Bush to Bowl, our school programs are designed to plant the seeds of Cultural understanding, sustainability, and connection to Country from an early age. Through hands-on workshops and garden installations, we engage students in learning about native plants, bush foods, and the deep Cultural knowledge that surrounds them. Whether we’re creating a native garden space together or leading a walk through local bushland, each experience is tailored to suit the needs of your school and community. These programs not only educate—they empower. They also support our broader social enterprise, creating real-world pathways for our trainees to grow their skills and share their knowledge. For us, these moments of Cultural education are some of the most powerful and lasting of all.

We also do excursions as well as incursions.

Landscaping & Design

Landscapes with a Story

Led by qualified landscaper and designer Adam Byrne, our Cultural Landscaping services blend traditional Indigenous knowledge with modern design principles to create sustainable, meaningful outdoor spaces. Adam brings years of hands-on experience and a deep connection to Country, ensuring each project reflects the unique stories, plants, and practices of the local Aboriginal community. Whether you're restoring native ecosystems or creating culturally rich gardens, Bush to Bowl is here to guide you through a landscaping journey that honours culture, promotes biodiversity, and respects the land.

Our passion for cultural landscaping is reflected in the spaces we’ve brought to life—both independently and in collaboration with others who share our vision. One standout project is Signal Fire, a culturally significant garden created with our friends at Mili Mili, perched on the stunning Freshwater Headland. This unique space honours Indigenous connection to Country and storytelling through native plants, natural materials, and intentional design. We’re proud to share that Signal Fire has recently received a Merit Award for Place from the Design Institute of Australia, a testament to the power of culture-led design to shape meaningful, healing environments.

From the Cultural Healing Garden at Macquarie Hospital to the bushfood rooftop kitchen gardens at CBA, our work spans a wide range of spaces—but it's often the small school gardens that leave the biggest mark. These intimate projects hold deep meaning for us, as they plant the seeds of cultural education early, helping young people connect with Country, culture, and sustainability. No matter the scale, each garden is a step toward healing, learning, and growing together.
