From Australia’s East coast. The cinnamon myrtle is of the backhousia family producing a leaf which can be substituted in foods replacing the introduced cinnamon powder. What a great plant to have for next sweet or savoury dish - biscuits, curries, ice cream, cakes, meat dishes etc.
